Museum exhibiting the works seized from the religious and civil buildings of Rennes segmented by periods and artistic currents.
Founded in 1794, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes boasts a fine permanent collection accessible to all. This is an opportunity to explore the different eras and artistic influences through masterpieces such as Le Nouveau-né by Georges de La Tour, La Chasse au tigre by Rubens or La Baigneuse à Dinard by Picasso. Among the temporary exhibitions, the one dedicated to masterpieces on loan from the Musée de Reims is well worth a look. And don't forget: yoga can sometimes be found at the MBA!
