The Château des Pères offers an atypical stroll. Formerly the home of the Congrégation des pères du Saint-Esprit, the Château des Pères was purchased in 2011 by the Legendre family to turn it into a place for sharing and encounters around art. The wooded park, open to the public, is awe-inspiring, with its many monumental sculptures appealing to young and old alike. Well-maintained, the park offers a wide variety of sculptures that challenge walkers with their techniques, materials, optical illusions, sizes and settings... Discover works that play with place and balance. Along the 2 km walk, you'll come across a bridge, horses, wolves, men and women, and many more. It's an opportunity to discover artists from Brittany and around the world (Michel Audiard, Eric Théret, Christophe Charbonnel, Cyrille André...). The paths are asphalted, so you can stroll along them at any time of year without inconvenience. The park extends over 31 hectares: each visit is unique, as the sculptures are regularly moved from one place to another. Throughout the year, the park hosts a variety of events: a circus festival, an auction of monumental works, an ephemeral gallery, various exhibitions, in situ sculptures... A calm and soothing place, punctuated by birdsong, where you can also take a breath of fresh air!
