The commune of Médréac has a rich historical heritage. From the Neolithic period, the megalithic alignments of Lampouy and the menhir of the Roche Carrée, 4.40 m high, remain. Two monumental crosses of the 16th century are also remarkable: the Cross of the Seven Wolves and the Cross of the Cemetery. The commune keeps in memory its Chouan past, as testified by the cave of Gabillard, place of refuge of the eponymous resistant. To discover the Néal valley, take advantage of the GR 37 paths or ride the bike-rail at the old train station! In summer, the castle of Caradeuc (18th century) opens the doors of its superb park, near Bécherel.
