The town of Hédé has preserved its old streets and its bourgeois houses, such as the Hôtel de l'Ecu. The town is crossed by the Ille-et-Rance canal and has an interesting tourist heritage. With its ponds and hiking trails, this town is also one of the top places for green tourism in Ille-et-Vilaine. Outside this "walled city", you will enjoy the superb panorama from the ruins of the castle, dating from the 11th century, to the plain of Tinténiac. If you are a lover of old stones, don't miss the 11th century church of Hédé, with its limestone arches.
