This 6.5 km hiking trail runs along the coastline between the Guesclin beach and the Pointe du Grouin. Walk around the Pointe du Nid with your best walking shoes and a water bottle. Walk on the cove of the Orchard: you will only have to cross a point and a beach to reach the Pointe du Grouin. You will then discover a magnificent panorama on the bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel and on the Landes island, home of colonies of gulls and cormorants.

Founded in 1995 by traditional song and maritime culture enthusiasts, the Western Lighthouse Association has been set up in a few years to the top of cultural animation on the Country of Cancale and Saint Malo. She has succeeded in raising awareness of the songs of maritime tradition and giving birth to the «Pirates» group. From the year 2000, it embarked on the organization of the festival «Les Bordés de Cancale», an event that values the rapprochement of artists with their audiences, through various privileged places: cafes, gardens, squares, cabaret capitals… which takes place every year on the first weekend of October. Today, it has become the indispensable rendez-vous for traditional sailors.

Facing the Mont-Saint-Michel, the nautical center offers various activities: sea garden, discovery of sailing for youngsters, optimist, catamaran, windsurfing as well as walks. You can take swimming lessons and rent a kayak or paddle. In winter, the center offers sailing lessons for adults. In summer, training courses are organized for children with the privateers' clubs (discovery of the marine environment, treasure hunt...).

This association from Cancale, proposes sea trips on board a Bisquine, one of these powerful rigs that were used for different fisheries (trawling, long lines and oyster draining). This one is the authentic reconstruction of the Perle, a Bisquine of 1905. Embark on a nautical trip to discover the archipelago of Chausey, Cancale and participate in the navigation maneuvers on the advice of the crew. Unforgettable.
