There's nothing like this rocky outcrop, which juts out into a sea with breaking swells and violent currents, especially on stormy days, for a remarkable view over the Bay of Audierne... As well as being an important archaeological site with a tumulus topped by a dolmen, it's also an ideal spot for water sports (surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding...). It's an internationally-renowned spot, and has repeatedly hosted rounds of the World Surfing Championships and the European Surfing Cup. All sports enthusiasts will find waves and winds here that are often furious. Pure bliss! For those who don't fancy the waves, sand yachting and kite flying are just as popular on Tréguennec's endless beach. Whether on foot or on horseback, the 600-hectare protected natural environment, bathed in superb light and made up of a variety of biotopes, is an attractive place to hike. Needless to say, many riders love galloping along this immense beach. In spring, the tulips grown in the sandy fields behind the dunes form colorful mosaics that attract many visitors. Take advantage of Saint-Jean-Trolimon's wonderful natural and cultural heritage, including the Blockhaus de Tronoë, which bears witness to the German occupation of the commune during the Second World War.
