North of the Croix d'Armorique, Roscanvel is a peninsula within the Crozon peninsula. Its location opposite the entrance to the Brest harbor and its Goulet has made it a strategic place over the centuries. Remnants of this history are the numerous military sites dotting its shores, from 17th-century Vauban forts and Empire batteries to World War II blockhouses. Most of them are accessible via the GR34 coastal path. Roscanvel is also a green setting with exceptional flora and fauna. Sailing, diving, hiking, cycling... there's no shortage of things to do!
