Halfway between Quimper and the Pointe du Raz, in the Bigouden high country, the small town of Plozévet has nearly 3,000 inhabitants. Surrounded by moorland and bordered by the sea, to which it is linked by a line of pebbles, it is home to several menhirs, including the "Rights of Man", which is a commemorative plaque following the shipwreck of the boat with the eponymous name. In Plozévet, you can visit the old small port of Canté, which was abandoned in the 1950s. But also the parish church of Saint-Démet and the chapel of the Trinity. The village also hosts several sculptures by René Quillivic.
