On August 24th, the Eckmühl lighthouse in Penmarc'h will once again look like an athletics stadium, and for good reason! On that day, it will host the 13th edition of the Lighthouse Rise World Championship, where many athletes (110 competitors in 2018) compete against its 307 65 cm high steps in a race against time. If you get tired of traditional running, this should kick your ass! From 1pm, he will see fifteen series of twelve runners, starting from minute to minute, to reach the top of the building as quickly as possible, and enjoy its superb panorama before going down again!

Distance: 307 steps of 65 cm.
Difficulty: medium to difficult.
Meeting point: courtyard of the Eckmühl lighthouse in Penmarc'h. Bibs pick up at 11:30 am and first departures at 1 pm.
Other practical information: any participant without a licence must provide a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to running in competition.
