This is a nice little town that will please the whole family. We go to Mellac for its architecture, its historical heritage but also for the surrounding nature which cannot charm us. If the main attraction of the city is the manor of Kernault, visitors will not forget to discover the chapel of the Madeleine as well as the remarkable Calvary. The latter presents religious figures (including those of the Virgin, Saint John, Saint Michael and Christ) of great artistic interest. The chapel, as for it, dating from the 15th century, was located on the pilgrimage route Tro-Breizh. It would have been used as a leprosarium..
