Petit Futé's opinion on FOLGOET PARDON
Le Pardon du Folgoët is one of the leading pardons of Brittany. It takes place every year on the first weekend of September, from Saturday evening to Sunday afternoon on the 5th and 6th September 2015. It always attracts important number of faithful (between 12,000 to 15,000 people in 2014). The Archbishop of Paris Monseigneur Vingt-Trois led the ceremony last year. The most recent ceremonies saw the faithful and curious attend together the religious services (masses in Breton) like in the great procession where banner carriers parade.
