Located on a peninsula of 1,100 hectares and bordered by the English Channel, Landéda is less than a kilometre from the sea. Because of its geographical position between the Aber Wrac'h and the Aber Benoît, it is endowed with varied marine landscapes. Its coastline is made up of numerous islands such as Tariec, Cézon and Garo, as well as other more ancient ones, estuary bottoms, dunes (notably that of Sainte-Marguerite) and rocky chaos. It also has a rich cultural and religious heritage. One thinks of the chapels of Saint-Laurent, Tromenec, Sainte-Marguerite and Broënnou, as well as the former convent of the Baie des Anges.
