This port, located in the heart of a very large bay, allows all types of boats to moor without difficulty and thus easily and safely unload. As for fishing, it is essentially sardines, mackerel, anchovies, hakes, sea bass, swordfish, thresher sharks... And for the sales by auction, that happens on the median of the port at 6 am, 6.30 am or 7 am depending on the supply of the day.

In a fishing port there are boats... but in Douarnenez there is lots of boats. In a port there are fishermen, but in Douarnenez today there are more fishing with the line than sailor- fishermen... but remain the memories of one of the great fishing port of France providing move on to life. A souvenir...
