Located at the crossroads of Finistère, Côtes-d'Armor and Morbihan, Carhaix is an ideal starting point for exploring Brittany. The town became an important economic and commercial center in the 17th and 18th centuries. This was reinforced at the end of the 19th century with the installation of the Réseau Breton. A Mallet locomotive stands in the station square as a reminder of its prestigious past. Today, it's a dynamic town that has managed to combine urban life with the pleasures of rural life. This is where the famous Vieilles Charrues festival is held, the first edition of which took place in 1992!
