Gateway to the Crozon peninsula, the Finisterian town of Argol, with a population of about 900, has three maritime frontages and is closely linked to the history of the town of Ys. In addition to its important religious heritage and its fountains, the town is also known for its statue of King Gradlon with impressive proportions: 3 meters high and weighing 3 tons. The town also has the particularity of having a bread oven since 1848 which is still used to bake bread during the local festivals.
