A superb natural balcony overlooking the Alsace plain at an altitude of 340 meters, this village has been awarded the national "2 Fleurs" label. Voegtlinshoffen (pronounced "feutlinnssofeun") offers sublime views of the vineyards, the Black Forest massif and, in fine weather, the Alps! It's the stronghold of valiant winegrowers who brilliantly maintain winegrowing traditions (notably the Grand Cru du Hatschbourg) dating back to the 13th century. On the town hall square, the Rabseppela statuette (a little man holding a bunch of grapes in his hand) stands on a beautiful octagonal fountain dating from the 18th century.
