This parish of the former diocese of Dol was already called Quévert at the end of the th century. A Celtic name, it is made up of the old Breton cemer found in Breton and Cornish - English Cornwall - in the form of kever. In all these languages, this word means a land ploughed together by the serfs of the same lord. Quévert built a few years ago, the Courtil des Senteurs. In this beautiful park, there are more than 5 000 fragrant plants, including 550 varieties of remontants roses and 200 species of shrubs. Each year, at the end of October, the municipality celebrates the apple and its derivatives; start with cider.
