No, Plurien is not nothing! It would be the contraction of "Ploe" (parish) and "Urien" coming from Saint Thurien, a Breton hermit of the 7th century. This rural village, ideally located above the beach of Sables-d'Or-les-Pins, is nicely wedged between the Cape of Erquy and the Cape Fréhel. You will discover the Montangué manor house, which houses the tourist office, as well as the Saint-Pierre church, built in the 11th century but reworked until the 19th century.
