The Eye of the Witch, an impressive stone ring, remains of a castle in Thann.
Nicknamed "the witch's eye", this huge stone ring is the vestige of a 13th-century castle. In the 17th century, the castle was blown up by Intendant Poncet. When the building fell, part of the keep tower stood like an eye watching over the town from its hillside... The site, sometimes the subject of sound and light shows, offers a magnificent view of the center of Thann and its cathedral.
