Plévenon is known for its coastline on the side of the cliff, home to the historic site of Fort la Latte and the natural site of Cape Frehel. The latter, north of the town, stands as a border between the bay of Saint-Malo and the bay of Saint-Brieuc. To the east, the Fort la Latte overlooks the English Channel, offering a breathtaking view of the horizon. On this strip of land, you can admire a diverse fauna and flora, between sea birds and heather and gorse moors, which give a wild character to this part of the coastline. From Cap Fréhel, you can also admire the start of the Route du Rhum, a sailing race from Saint-Malo.
