Overlooking the Rance valley, this commune is renowned for the quality of its cider. According to the life of Saint Magloire, in the 11th century, the monks of Léhon, returning from the island of Serq with the relics of the saint, stopped in the cove of La Tourniole where they had a house. On settling in, they would have placed the relics in the branches of an apple tree under which they ate. At the end of the meal, apples fell on the table. The apples, which had a reputation for being very acidic, suddenly became succulent. Situated on the edge of maritime Rance, this pretty little village is opposite the medieval castle of Péhou.
