This great medieval festival takes you back to the time of the knights with its tournaments, reenactments, costume parades...
Created in 1983, it is one of the largest medieval festivals in Europe. Every two years, the festival of the Ramparts of Dinan attracts nearly 100 000 visitors, some of them in costume. Medieval stalls, chivalry tournaments, craftsmen at work, great night pavane with torches, re-enactments, shows, concerts, ball... For two days, it is the effervescence in the heart of the medieval city and at the foot of its 2 648 meters of ramparts. A different theme is defined for each edition. In 2023, the festival will blow its 40 candles!

Très belle fête dans un cadre magnifique. Le bal gratuit du soir est vraiment sympa bonne ambiance et bienvenue aux novices. Pour certaines échopes ou restaurant je conseille la réservation c est vite pleins. Des parkings sont disponibles tout autour. Les spectacles médievaux avec joutes sont de qualité. Et je vous conseille d y aller costumé si possible on est encore plus dans l ambiance. J y suis allée plusieurs fois . maintenant la fête c est tous les 2 ans.
