Small museum featuring an interesting collection of grape-growing tools, including a rare felling press
Currently under renovation, this small museum is not due to reopen for some time. But as soon as it reopens, it should delight enthusiasts: it displays a collection of tools, and also boasts a rare medieval-style felling press. With a pressure of 1.2 tons per square meter, it produced 750 to 800 liters of juice from some 1,000 kg of grapes. Very slow to operate, its principle had been known since Antiquity and was used until 1924.
