Read moreThis cooperative winery is housed in a large, attractive building along the roadside in the heart of the Mâconnais vineyards. Founded in 1929, it united the winegrowers of the villages of Vinzelles and Lochés, producing prestigious cuvées in Burgundy and Beaujolais. The modern sales and tasting area is totally dedicated to the wines of this corner of the Mâconnais region: pouilly vinzelles, pouilly fuissé, pouilly loché and saint-véran.

Read moreIn 2000, Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret took over the La Soufrandière estate, acquired in 1947 by their paternal grandfather. They farm their vines using organic and biodynamic methods (including horse-drawn ploughing). They treat the great wines they produce with the same care, thanks to their wine merchant Bret Brothers. It's a pleasure to stop and meet these passionate people, who gladly share their love of terroir.
