LE RELAIS DE L’ABBAYE
A beautiful Savoyard address in the heart of Tournus. Well located along the RN6 and opposite the station, you just jump from the train to land in few steps at the Hôtel Relais. Marie-christine and Stéphane welcome you in a large wooded room that makes the hotel look like a high-mountain chalet which is ultimately quite different. A glazed and modern terrace adjoins the main dining room and overlooks an interior garden. The rooms are simple, almost a little bit austere, without much decoration. They are comfortable but nothing more. The little plus: some rooms can accommodate up to 5 people. Ideal for families. The mountain chalet side is strengthened by the panelling on the walls. At the restaurant, the Relais de l'Abbaye focuses on a simple cuisine. The dishes are hearty and will satisfy big eaters. On the menu: skewers, the "Le Chapeau" specialty made with raclette cheese, ham and French fries and of course, the raclette and the Savoyard fondue!
