Opening towards the Grosne valley, on the road to Chalon, Sercy and its castle, listed as a historic monument, have long defended the interests of the Abbey of Cluny. Together with the church of Saint-Vincent, this totally original fortified plain castle sits majestically in the heart of this rural village. Private property, you just have to park on the small car park in front of the lake which separates the castle from the road to admire it quietly. Also worth seeing is the Sercy mill which was equipped in 1903 to produce electricity (renewable) for Saint-Gengoux-le-National.
