To the west of Montagny, we crossed the embankment and passed through a bocage landscape where pastures have replaced vines. There is a village made up of a market town, with its Romanesque church of Saint-Fiacre and a castle whose origins date back to the 13th century (which cannot be visited), and the hamlet of Lys (Lavoir des Grottes). This hamlet stretches between the rocky reliefs that hide caves that were certainly inhabited as early as the Upper Neolithic period. The Green Walk between Lys and woods allows you to discover the hamlet and its surprising rocky spur.
