Saisy takes its name from the family of the same name who left for Brittany at the end of the 12th century. The village is home to a charming little church that was influenced by the style of the cathedral in Autun. Inside, the broken vaults and fluted pilasters are typical of the region. The nave with its ceiling, which has been greatly modified, still has a gothic tombstone. The commune of Saisy is crossed by the watershed. The water that flows down its eastern side goes towards the Mediterranean, the water that flows down its western side goes towards the Atlantic.
