Along a small stretch of water bordered by forests, the small village of Saint-Sernin-du-Bois reveals its ancient stones, including Gallo-Roman remains, a ^14th-century keep and a magnificent granite dam built in the early ^20th century. This charming ensemble is the starting point for numerous hikes (11 signposted circuits ranging from 2 km to 31 km, starting from the dam). Among other things, you'll come across charming waterfalls, a peat bog and superb viewpoints.
