Culminating at 430 meters of altitude, one of the highest points of the South Côte Chalonnaise, the village of Saint-Martin-du-Tartre offers a wonderful view of the Guye valley, the Charolais and Clunisois mountains. In this land of bocage and cattle breeding, it is pleasant to walk on the marked trails. The "Balade verte" entitled "Tout là-haut" starts near the town hall of Saint-Martin-du-Tartre, makes a 10 km loop before returning to the beautiful Saint-Martin church in the village. Also worth seeing, in the hamlet of Mazeray, an oratory erected in place of the remains of a Romanesque chapel.
