A pretty rural commune in the Dheune valley, Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune is a quiet, confidential stopover along the Canal du Centre. It's famous for its clay, with tile factories that flourished in the 17th century and even more so with the arrival of the railroads in the 19th century. A stopover in the Ceramic Valley, the village boasts a delightful marina. Numerous hiking trails start from Saint-Léger, as does a section of the greenway along the Canal du Centre. It's also the perfect place to explore the vineyards between Côte Chalonnaise, Maranges and Couchois.
