Located halfway between Buxy and Saint-Gengoux-le-National, on the D891, the village of Saint-Boil is also on the Voie Verte. At the start of several walks - departing from the totem pole located in the village hall car park -, including a path leading to the sources of the Goutteuse River through the many hamlets that make up the village, Saint-Boil deserves more than a stop and offers an ideal place to stay to spread out over the whole of the southern part of the Côte Chalonnaise. Several curiosities to see and visit: the Saint-Baudille church and its Romanesque bell tower, and, less known, a Gallo-Roman quarry. Numerous calvaries and wash houses. Presence of craftsmen of art on the commune.
