Rully is a village not to be missed, not only for its wines, but also for its landscapes and heritage. It is protected by the relief of the Côte Chalonnaise, and numerous walks can be envisaged, punctuated by stops at the cellars. Some fifty estates share the 340 ha of vineyards. Rully has its own Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, for whites and reds, with 23 premier crus, and it was here, in 1822, that Crémant de Bourgogne was born. The commune also boasts a splendid medieval château, a Napoleon III château and a 14th-century church. It is crossed by the Canal du Centre and the Greenway.
