Culminating at a height of 610 meters, the charming village of Mont-Saint-Vincent overlooks a countryside of vast meadows bordered by huge low stone walls. A Cluniac site, its beautiful Romanesque church dates from the late 11th century. A former barony in the Middle Ages, the village has retained the authenticity of its medieval lanes and is easy to explore on foot. Climb up to the belvedere (near the relay antenna) to admire the green theater and the almost 360° view. Although it has very few shops, Mont-Saint-Vincent rolls out the red carpet for tourists, with numerous explanatory signs and an area for motorhomes.
