Created by the Mercurey defense and management organization (ODG), Caveau Divin is the showcase for the Mercurey AOC, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023. The cellar features 44 estates with one or two crus each, and 64 wines. It's possible to taste them all, thanks to the fact that the wines are kept in an oenomatic cellar, which allows the bottles to be kept open under nitrogen. The formula is simple: simply obtain a tasting card from reception, credit it with the amount of your choice, and make your selection from the wines available.

Domaine Duvernay in Mercurey is particularly welcoming, with its glass-enclosed boutique cellar overlooking the vines. It's also a young domaine, founded in 1970 by Jean Duvernay, the grandfather who dug his cellar in the stone at the foot of his house. Today, it's his son Jean-Luc and granddaughter Floriane who share the work. The domaine cultivates 20 ha of vines in the Coteaux bourguignons, Crémant, Aligoté, Mercurey white and red appellations, including the flagship Mercurey rouge^1er Cru Le Clos l'Évêque.

Château de Chamirey has been a family business for five generations. We can only pay tribute to the memory of Edward de Suremain, Yves' grandfather, as he was at the origin, in 1923, of the Mercurey appellation. Thanks to these two enthusiasts, you can learn all about the history of the domaine, this fabulous village and this exceptional terroir. Domaine de Suremain produces six red Mercurey wines, including five ^1ers crus with distinctive characteristics, a white Mercurey and a crémant. The vines are grown using sustainable methods and harvested by hand.

The Tramier L.et Fils vineyard is a benchmark in Burgundy. Since 1842, this négociant-levage house has offered a wide range of carefully selected wines, offering outstanding quality and value for money. Since 2018, Château de Garnerot has enjoyed a new lease of life thanks to Alexia Russo and Caroline Fyot. Passionate young winemakers, they devote their 6 ha of vines and their proud building to the very best. Now organic, they put as much passion into their Aligoté as they do into their Appellation Village, Crémant or Mercurey^1er Cru wines. They offer tastings with a tour of the château and themed dinners. In a small house set in the château's magnificent grounds, a charming gîte offers a total experience.

The history of this vineyard dates back to 1875, so the name Antonin Rodet is an institution in Mercurey, a small winegrowing commune with a worldwide reputation. Clos Antonin Rodet is a beautiful ^17th-century residence with typical Burgundian glazed tiles, surrounded by a formal garden. The house offers a guided wine and heritage immersion tour lasting one to two hours, with wine tasting. This heavyweight of the Burgundy wine scene owns vineyards from Chablis in the Yonne to the Mâconnais, including some monopoles.

Since 2022, Domaine de la Monette has been in the hands of Pierre-Etienne Chevallier, a young winemaker who trained in Beaune before gaining experience in Côte-d'Or, California and Côte Chalonnaise. Accompanied by his wife Lise, he cultivates 12.5 hectares of vines in Mercurey, Givry, Rully and Bouzeron, all certified organic. Controlled weeding, unmowed fallow land at the edge of the vineyard, fruit tree planting, yield control and parcel-based vinification are just some of the fundamentals of the domaine, which deserve a closer look.
