Adjacent to the seaside resort of Saly, this fishermen's village, which became a commune in 2008, has managed to preserve its authenticity and tranquility. Here, no hotel complex but charming guest houses, with a warm welcome, often held by expatriates, fallen in love with Senegal. The locality is appreciated for its large beach of fine sand, clean and little affected by erosion. Less touristic than in Mbour, but just as colorful, the return of the fishermen is not to be missed. Evenings are quiet here, but some bars and restaurants remain open in the evening. To party, Saly is only ten minutes away!
