Although administratively part of the territorial entity of the metropolitan city of Turin, Lanzo Torinese (for a long time called Lans-l'Hermitage in France) is located at the foot of the Alps and at the arrival of the three valleys of Lanzo. Strongly attached to its rich and tumultuous history, the municipality promotes its heritage, and particularly two medieval civil remains in perfect condition: its tower, known as the Aymon de Challant tower, which once allowed access to the city and now houses a library, and its famous 14th century "Devil's Bridge", a magnificent structure whose single arch spans the Stura di Lanzo.
