Natural park declared a protected area in Sveti Martin na Muri.

Declared a protected area in 2011, this nature park extends over the territories crossed by the rivers Mur and Drava, courses shared by Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia and Hungary. The reserve includes the floodplain and the agricultural transition zone up to the confluence of the Drava and the Danube near Aljmaš. An area of 87,680.52 ha, mapped over five counties (Međimurje, Varaždin, Koprivnica-Križevci, Virovitica-Podravina and Osijek-Baranja).
