Nestled at the bottom of a meander of the river, the village of Saint-Chély-du-Tarn and its cirque, a vast amphitheatre in the hollow of the cliffs of the Causse Méjan, are a little gem! Restored houses, a country church with a square bell tower, a stone bridge, waterfalls - the ideal postcard - and a humble Romanesque chapel nestled in the baume de Cénaret, a natural cavity dug in the rock. A small pebble beach allows you to refresh yourself in this enchanting setting. A few shops and several guest houses are open, mainly during the summer season. In summer too, a sound and light show highlights the superb cliffs.
