In addition to its architectural interest, the church of Saint-André, located in the commune of La Tagnière, has a remarkable set of statues, the most important of which is undoubtedly Notre-Dame de Bay, a Virgin in Majesty carrying the Child Jesus in polychrome wood, from the end of the 15th century. La Tagnière also has some ancient castles. The one of Bussière, an ancient feudal mound, is a private property. Its standing bridge is listed as a historical monument. The castle of Champignolle, which can be visited only by appointment and on the occasion of the Festival of the iris in May and for the appointments in the gardens (first weekend of June), is the successor to a medieval house which has retained the moat, it has a beautiful flower garden. Finally, of the castle of Trélague, former fortified castle, there remains only the massive square keep, flanked by two circular corner towers.
