Three hours from Stockholm, towards the open sea, lie three islands: Stora Jolpan, Lilla Jolpan and Idholmen, which make up Finnhamn, a small paradise on earth. You can walk freely on many paths, through pine and birch woods, pick flowers and berries in the meadows and swim on the rocks smoothed by the wind and the winter waves. But beware of ants! Here, they are red and rather huge. Regular departures all year round, almost every hour in high season. The crossing takes about 3 hours. Tickets can be bought at the ticket office on the quay.
