Travel Guide Tremp

Tremp, the main town in the Pallars Jussà region, in the province of Lleida, has 3,000 inhabitants. It is located in a river environment shaped by the Noguera Pallaresa, south of the Sant Antoni reservoir and its dam. The surroundings are ideal for hiking and practising all kinds of outdoor sports, not to mention the aquatic activities of the lake. The old town, with its medieval appearance, has the Plaza de la Creu at its centre, where the Town Hall and the church of Santa María de Valldeflors (17th century) are located. There are also several defensive towers that belonged to the city's old fortifications.
