The Vauban Museum is the ideal place to discover the history and architecture of the fortress of Neuf-Brisach, whose octagonal plan was chosen by Louis XIV. In 2 rooms, you can consult plans and drawings relating to the construction technique. The centerpiece is an admirable reproduction of the model of the Neuf-Brisach fortress, complete with audio commentary. A second room explores the history of the town from its creation to the Second World War, through collections of various objects. Small but instructive!

Le musée Vauban de Neuf Brisach offre un accès aux fossés des remparts de la ville pour une belle balade. On y trouve des plans sur la ville à l'intérieur mais ce qui est dommage c'est qu'il n'est pas ouvert en hiver.
