Close to the Barcelona-Catalonia circuit, the municipality of Vilanova del Vallès has 12 urban nuclei. If its economy is largely dominated by the textile and metal industry, it spreads out to the north, on the edge of the river Mogent, vast plots of cultivated land partly protected by the Natura 2000 charter. Its territory is thus divided between depopulated natural areas - criss-crossed by marked paths -, industrial zones and residential areas. While passing through the municipality, plan a visit to the sanctuary of Santa Quitèria, perched on the heights. It offers a breathtaking view of the region! To the east, the Turó de Céllecs (534 metres) is the highest point of the Serralada Litoral Park.
