A small town 14 km from Corfu Town, organized around its long, narrow beach of sand and pebbles, the Golden Mile. If you're looking for peace and quiet, don't bother. For the rest of us, Ipsos is a party town, until very early in the morning, when two types of holidaymakers cross paths: those who stay up late and those who prepare for a lazy day. On the whole, it's a pleasant place to be: the beach is on the mainland side, sheltered from the wind and waves. The Albanian and Greek coasts in the distance and the Italian-inspired architecture give the place a pleasant Lake Como ambiance.
