Koh Mook, or Ko Muk, the third largest on the outskirts of Trang, is remarkable for its large west-facing limestone cliffs. Still untouched by mass tourism (but until when?), it's one of Thailand's most peaceful islands. There are a few resorts and more rudimentary accommodation, as well as a tiny tourist center with restaurants and bars. A fishing village lies to the south-east of the island. The beaches are not the finest in the Andaman Sea, but Ao Kham is particularly charming. A must-see is Tham Morakot (or Emerald Cave), an open-air grotto with a beach accessible only by boat at low tide.
