Those who come back from Jos talk to you about it with that special light in their eyes, evoking the fresh plateaus and the beautiful hikes accessible on the outskirts of the city. A mild climate, a granary in Nigeria where excellent fruit and vegetables are produced, the city is unfortunately not recommended for access today, due to the extreme dangerousness of the roads leading to it. Yet it is the cradle of Nigerian civilization, where remains of the Stone, Iron Age and flamboyant Nok civilization have been found, whose terracotta statuettes bear witness to an exceptional mastery for their time (500 BC). Capital of the Plateau State, it is located at the confluence of the Muslim and Christian eras, in the heart of the Middle Belt. Tin City - for its tin mining - where J Town is located at an altitude of more than 1,200 metres, the temperature can drop below 15°C during the winter months!
