Between Buga and Buenaventura, 7 km from Córdoba, San Cipriano is a village lost in the middle of the tropical forest. The inhabitants have built an original means of transportation to get there. Nicknamed the brujita ("little witch"), it is a wooden platform placed on the rails of the railroad. A motorcycle with a rear wheel on the rails propels this strange invention. Travelers pay a small fee to ride on the platform, while enjoying the selvatic landscape of the Pacific side of the Cordillera Occidental. Once there, you can explore the trails with a local guide, float down a clear river, swim at the foot of waterfalls, and enjoy an area where monkeys and toucans abound, in the company of very friendly locals. You can sleep for cheap at the inhabitant's home, or in inns in the village.
