Müllendorf is a municipality of the canton of Steinsel located at 8 km from the center of Luxembourg-City. It has 1,000 inhabitants. From the church of Steinsel, a commune next to Müllendorf, starts an easy 9 km self-pedestrian circuit. After climbing a steep slope, you reach the wooded hills of the Alzette valley. You cross the plateau, then descend the Hënneschte Bësch and the Schréideschgröndchen to reach the Mamer valley, whose course you follow for a while. You pass the pumping station of Direndall and return to the plateau. You go down a forest path to the starting point.
