This municipal museum boasts some fine collections bequeathed to it in the past by the employers of Mulhouse. It offers a fine overview of art history and French painting, as well as numerous works by regional artists. The 19th century is the strong point of the collections. And let's not forget Alsatian artist Jean-Jacques Henner, to whom a room is dedicated. Finally, contemporary art can be discovered on the second floor, with internationally renowned artists and local visual artists. The number of visitors to this museum is on the increase.
